Rush score report to Carnegie?

...sigh... Carnegie Mellon ED I deadline is Nov15, I didn't know that it took weeks to send a SAT score report, so I rushed everything today. Will Carnegie Mellon accept a rush score report?....I'll be damned if it doesn't....urrrraaaghhhhh!!!!!

I asked the admissions department a similar question and received this response:

"If you are applying Regular Decision you can take the exam in January but if you do, you will need to request a “rush report” on your scores so that Carnegie Mellon will receive them as quickly as possible. We understand that this means they may not arrive until February, and as such, there is no guarantee that the admission committee will review your admission folder if these scores arrive late. Despite this, we make an effort to review everything that reaches our office within a reasonable time."

Only difference is that mine is for late scores and regular decision. I'd contact admissions to find out if the rules are the same for ED.

Hope I helped you out a bit.

yea, that information helped out a lot, thanx

I checked with Carnegie Mellon today, and they do accept rush report now...reluctantly, I suppose

I spoke with them about 2 months ago, and yes they do accept rushed scores. I personally am sending rushed scores on the 21st (I took the Nov 5th SAT IIs..), and they said its definately all right.

Reluctantly?

I'm applying CFA, and the regular desicion deadline for CFA is Dec. 1 (thursday). I just did my rush order a few hours ago...

is this okay?
