Hey, I’m a Moscow high school student who is blindly loping at Harvard
I need someone to answer some questions
P.S. If someone interested in practicing Russian or something like that - welcome!
P.P.S. If there are any international applicants please write me too
To @T26E4’s point: Harvard (and most US colleges) limit the number of international students to about 10% to 11% of an incoming class – and Russian students are not high on that list (at least not at Harvard)! Go to: http://www.hio.harvard.edu/statistics
From the pull down menus, select STUDENTS, HARVARD COLLGE (the undergraduate school) and RUSSIA and you’ll see there are four (4) students who are freshman, sophomores, juniors or seniors from Russia currently enrolled at Harvard. That means Harvard, on average, admits O-N-E (1) student each year from Russia.
To be that one student admitted to Harvard from Russia, you need to be the-best-of-the-best from your country. Now based on that information, what questions do you have?
What are your states? I know several international students, including myself, who also applied to Harvard. Even though that is certainly not my first choice, I applied EA and was deferred. It was a surprise for me that I was not rejected, for at that moment I had only 30 ACT and nothing more.
