I’m a little confused about applying to RBS. Is RBS one of the schools (such as pharmacy or engineering) that one applies to as a senior in high school? If so, and I get in, then am I not part of SAS, and therefore, do not need to take the core curriculum classes required by SAS?
Yes, RBS is its own school and has its own requirements.
RBS follows the Rutgers core curriculum. Then there’s the business school pre-requisites. And then there’s required classes based on your major.
There is a basic core curriculum that in the past was similar to SAS (my son graduated from RBS). However it did not exactly follow SAS; for example, SAS had a foreign language requirement, but RBS did not.
They are always updating the curriculum requirements so your best bet is to use a combination of the website, the registrar, and Degree Navigator to be sure you are taking your required courses. No one is going to come after you if you neglect to take a course you need to graduate.
@ rualum - which specialiation your son graduated in ? how are the job prospects ? whats the salary range ?
