My D was accepted to Hofstra, Seton Halll, Monmouth, Quinnipiac, Salve Regina, URI, U Maine…her first choice all along was Coastal Carolina…she just fell in love with it. Majoring in Forensic Psych and minoring in pre-Law. Deferred from USC (as in Carolina not California), James Madison, and UMass Amherst. Still waiting on a few more…Her SATs are good but her GPA is only 3.5 weighted so she’s on the fence for Rutgers…plus OOS…she’s expecting a rejection.
GPA unweighted 3.6, weighted, 5.4, NEW SAT, 1210)
Applied SAS. Application went in completed October 10th…STILL WAITING
3.4 Gpa weighted 1360 sat 790 math 2c and korean. Sent my application 12/01 but my sat scores were sent 1/03 and I got accepted in a week lol. Just waiting for my friends

2noelle2017. I do not live in WV, but I worked closly with at least 8 or 10 UVW grads over the years. Consistently some of my favorite people. Smart, resourceful, hard working, and generally what I would call down to earth resourceful people. I would not hesitate to go there if you like it!
Applied to all three campuses and got into all three campuses. 3.96 GPA (weighted), ACT score of 26, fair number of long-term extracurriculars. Pumped to have been accepted!

Another update to when her application was viewed… now it says 1/17 was the last view but status is still in process. So they’ve now looked on 12/6, 1/13 and 1/17. At some point, shouldn’t they make a decision?
Another user pointed out that the date could be an indicator of when the system made changes to her file. It doesn’t necessarily mean a human member of the admissions office looked at it.

@Njmom224, I don’t believe it’s generic because it only changed these 2 times. From 12/6 originally and then nothing again until 1/13 and now 1/17. Others may have different dates but it doesn’t change every day. What you quote above is what I see. I will say this though, Montclair has kind of the same thing on their “status” page. For them, they notify by mail. And for my daughter, when the date changed, she got her acceptance a couple of days later (remember they send by mail and not online notification). Therefore, perhaps that method is the same at other schools. Meaning perhaps the change in date signifies an answer sometime soon when they send out more info to students.
@NorthofBoston26 those are good schools that she was accepted to. I applied Umass and Jmu too but RD so won’t hear anything for a long time probably
Also, regardless of any dates, EA reply date was 1/31. We’re getting very close to that anyway. The waiting sucks.
