@NorthofBoston26 such a long wait ahead. Is Rutgers the hardest of the 3? Good to know about JMU!
I think Rutgers is more difficult. The overall admissions criteria for non honors programs are much higher. Was a reach. But i recently had a student rejected from a safety and accepted to a reach. You never know
Son was accepted to Umass and JMU but hasn’t heard anything from Rutgers. Never know how this stuff works or what colleges are looking for. its almost a crap shoot. this is why people are not applying to so many colleges.
My son was accepted to Rutgers and UMass, but waiting on JMU (applied regular decision). Got a $10,000 scholarship from UMass, but waiting on aid from Rutgers. I would say of the 3 that Rutgers is the highest rated academically.
Scholarship info is out! It still says 2016 - 2017, but I checked on a whim and I saw scholarship information!
Edit: I don’t know if honors college and honors program information is out yet.
Did not work for me
I didn’t get anything yet. What are your stats?
SAT (superscore): 1490/1600
gpa uw: 3.85
Had some awards and activities
Essay: pretty good
I just checked and my scholarship info was posted… does anyone know if the scholarships we see are it as far as merit-based aid goes? Or can they update it with more scholarships later on?
Oh no… I still have nothing.
I’m anxious.
@gj0506 How much did you get? Also, which schools were you accepted to?
@lan0517 Which schools were you accepted to?
where is this information posted?
@ByteZz if it’s a blank screen, then you didn’t get anything. But, more likely, your screen shows the orange box with the exclamation point saying they haven’t posted any info for you yet, which means exactly what it says
Just checked and D received the presidential scholarship from NB engineering and business school. As an instate, this pretty much makes it a full ride. Very proud of her!
Congrats to your daughter! If I may ask, what are her stats?
@ByteZz I got trustee scholarship for SAS, SEBS, and RBS.
what link are you using to check? Thanks!
@gj0506 Congratulations! Did you apply RD?
@Ian0517 Ah, thanks for saving me from a heart-attack. I still have the orange box with the exclamation mark.
Where do you guys see scholarship info? On the application status check or somewhere else?
@whataboutcollege congrats! I am also interested in her stats… my S got Scarlet, lowest available, with a 4.0 unweighted GPA and 1520/1600 SAT. I’m a little disappointed! his weighted GPA is 4.419. we are in-state.
@gj0506 congratulations! Was this a New Brunswick scholarship? @mom3boys. Since he/she said it still said 2016-2017, I think he is referring to the link that previously had Camden info. https://studentaid.rutgers.edu/scholarship/
