Was just admitted to School of Engineering and School of Business in New Brunswick. Had previously been admitted to SAS on the 15th of December. 1880 sat, 3.3 UW gpa, 4.1 wgpa.
@madethis2comment Agreed. I wasnt admitted to NB SAS as a transfer student (entering sophomore year) with a 3.09 gpa in high school & a 3.05 gpa fall of 2016 semester. Newark CAS is still in process. Im not getting in and if I dont get into rutgers im not applying again, its just not meant to be
Hey guys. I just wanted to ask you all one thing.
I am a bit confused between TCNJ and Rutgers for Computer Science. Can someone tell me which one is better, from the study and placement perspective. I know this is a wrong group to ask this question, but it will be very grateful if you all help me.
@ad010599 Im going into computer science as well, Rutgers without a doubt.
Okay. Thanks a lot.@nz1998
I got in with 1200/1600 in SAT…
Im doing IB with scores of 5-7 in both SL & HL.
Essay was good… so were EC’s…
@NorthofBoston26 I’m sorry…I wasn’t either. Your daughter applied to Umass and Jmu too right? We won’t hear until March from them? I applied RD for both of them. Now I’m thinking I have no shot for them either after this rejection.
@AD010599 From a curriculum perspectives I would say their resprective CS programs are comparable, but would give Rutgers the edge as far as being able to help you get internships and their ability to find a job after college.
Anyone know if those that were waitlisted need to take any action? Other schools send an email/mail asking if you are still interested or want be removed from the list. What is the process for Rutgers?
@Zarif981 I have similar stats to you, but haven’t been accepted to SAS NB, yet. Hopefully this means a good thing will happen soon. I wish they updated during the weekend. It’s gonna kill me to wait till Monday night.
Is sebs easier or harder to get in than SAS?
@sven434 http://admissions.rutgers.edu/pdfs/Rutgers_Midranges.pdf It seems that stats were slightly lower for sebs. Good Luck!
Still in process for Newark CAS, anyone else?
@nz1998 I didn’t apply to Newark CAS, but lots of my friends who applied are still in process too.
Still in process for engineering -.-
@chansu99 did you apply EA?
Yes @brokebrowngirl, though I already got in for SAS
@chansu99 Engineering is a bit more competive, so just hand in there. You’ll know soon! Good luck!
Even though I was invited to honors college from sebs and sas, and from initial release will probably receive a 13k trustee scholarship, all indications are that I will most likely not accept now as I was accepted to UNC Chapel Hill EA OOS. I wish they let us choose who we gave our acceptance to…
