is anyone an EOF applicant?

how much do they care about the volunteer hours and essays and extracurriculars? i’m really counting on those

@m2baseball im hoping they care about it because my grades are average but i think my volunteering activities and essay is what makes me stand out the most

@random1029 me too honestly, we are in the same boat here. I hope we can both get in

Truthfully, Rutgers is actually very SAT oriented, then they look at GPA, and lastly ecs. ECs apparently don’t have much weight in a Rutgers application.

damn :frowning: what are my odds then with an 1170 superscore :confused:

): ***

@fernweh7

That really sucks since my SAT kills me. Really hope it doesn’t kill my chances.

B+ average in school w/ a 1150 SAT. Really wish I did better, but oh well haha. Good number of EC’s with numerous awards.

This should give you a good idea on where you stand as an applicant: https://admissions.newbrunswick.rutgers.edu/applying/admissions-profile

^ thats what i assumed also

yeah I have no chance of getting in for engineering :frowning: maybe for biological sciences

Since Rutgers has so many applications to go through, its computerized and filtered out by SAT and then GPA. From there, is when the admissions physically look essays and EC’s from the filtered down, individual applications

It’s 9 :open_mouth:

Did any decisions come out yet?
