Rutgers class of 2024 admissions decisions only!

@NYCDadof2 good question…given the capricious nature of acceptances now, 6 miles from the house (probably a negative  ), in-state school, hey what’s one more safety school on the pile. For all of those reasons it was easy to hit the button and apply. My daughter hangs out with her high school friends on the campus, hears all of the stories and is happy to have great choices. We are lucky that she doesn’t need to attend Rutgers but it was always good to have on the list.

Admitted to Rutgers NB Arts and Sciences / Environmental and Biological Sciences
GPA : 99.21/100 (weighted) 95.0 UW
SAT : 1550
Crossing fingers for Honors College decisions coming out later this month

Admitted SAS NB and SOE on 12/22…
GPA: 3.7
SAT: 1490
NY Resident
The problem with admissions is that when they accept students they should provide the merit aid amounts immediately (if there will be any) and any honors programs because that is what a lot of people are waiting for to finalize their decisions.

My son (1410 SAT, 3.85 UW GPA) applied RD and was accepted to NB SAS yesterday morning. No word on SOE yet.

Applied on November 1st early action
accepted January 31st to SAS

3.93 Weighted GPA, 1450 SAT (770 ERW 690 Math)

Admitted to New Brunswick, but did not get into Honors College - somewhat surprised. I am wondering what stats were required for Honors College - can those admitted share their stats?

Mine:
35 ACT
4.2 Weighted GPA
12 AP Classes
Excellent extracurriculars and volunteer
Admitted to Honors Colleges at more competitive schools

I picked a really unpopular major “food science”in sebs and undeclared in sas. What do u guys think my chances are? I’ve been panicking lol for a whole month waiting for my decision. Thanks in advance.

1580 SAT and RBS only gave me $3,500 in merit, making my total cost almost $33,000/year… when I put my stats into Rutgers’ calculator a few months ago it said that I’d probably receive around $20,000/year in merit so this is just a horrible surprise. SAS is my second choice school and they gave me ZERO aid.

CORRECTION: the calculator actually said I was eligible for up to $25,000 in aid! Yet they only gave me $3,500!

@jadyniscool no

Got a REJECTION from RBS and a Waitlist from SAS.

Rutgers waitlist process however says they prioritize people which submitted senior grades. Luckily for my I tried hard and got a 4.15 the past semester and my GPA went from a 3.61 to a 3.72. Hopefully this moves me up the ranks and I can get in.

Applied Early action originally got into SEBS and SAS for early action and deferred from EMSOP
Just found out I was accepted to EMSOP!!
In state
SAT: 1280
ACT: 26
WGPA: 4.865
UW: 3.898
9 AP Classes
11 honors classes
Loads of Extracurriculars
NHS member, French honors society member, and an AP scholar with honor
So beyond words excited, living the dream!!

Got waitlisted for NB school of nursing. 1340 SAT and 3.6 gpa. Pretty predictable.

My daughter (4.0 w, 3.6 uw, SAT 1140, 8 AP courses, all honors courses) was also rejected from RBS and waitlisted for SAS. NJ resident. For those who do not want to go to Rutgers, please decline to open spots for those that do. It’s much appreciated!

Waitlisted from RBS and rejected from engineering with a 32 act and 3.5 gpa with stellar mid year grades. I know my scores are not that good but I definitely believed they were good enough for Rutgers. I am also in state. This school was a safety and although I got into some of my reaches I can not believe what is happening with Rutgers.

Admitted to EMSOP on 28th Feb. Previously accepted to RB NB (first wave RD) and NWK (within a week of applying). RD applicant. STATS: 1400 SAT. 3.5 UW, 4.8 W GPA, good ECs. I have heard Pharmacy and Business are both very good.

For those of you looking to predict your chances… EA applicant, OOS, 1400 SAT, 107 GPA (100 point scale), rank 7/316 W, 5/316 UW… okay EC’s, 6 AP by graduation, admitted to EMSOP, SAS, and nursing
