I got accepted to NB SAS, NB BS, and NB EMSOP
But I didn’t receive any scholarship from any of the schools…
@Bloomy46 Stats?
Unweighted GPA: 3.989 SAT: 1380 7 Honor classes and 5 AP classes. I know that I won’t get any for EMSOP but I thought I would maybe get a little from NBBS
Still “In Process”, is tonight 11 PM EST the deadline or was it at 12 AM?
My friend had an act score of 26 and she got a scholarship of 10k
@Bloomy46 maybe that was need based aid. I promise you your friend did not get merit from Rutgers with a 26. Don’t believe everything your friends tell you.
My daughter got into Mason Gross! She got into SAS New Brunswick and School of environmental and biological sciences in December but we were waiting to hear from Mason Gross! Yay! Visual art.
actually, @jnkam24 my daughter was accepted in to Mason/Gross for a BFA in dance and she was admitted to the Honors College and received the trustee award, which is $16,000.00/year. Perhaps Mason/Gross nominates students based on their audition, but I am not certain. You don’t know how Rutgers is awarding scholarships, so it is possible the @Bloomy46 's friend may have received a scholarship.
@amom2girls merit scholarships are awarded by the individual school so Mason Gross is a different story than the much more academically competitive School of Engineering, Pharmacy or Business. 26 gets nothing in those schools, it just doesn’t. I stand corrected, if the friend got $10000 with a 26, it may have been talent at Mason Gross or maybe not New Brunswick.
Last couple of hours for RD peeps. Still “in process” my heart is racing so fast right now.
My account still says “In Process” and I’m so nervous. RUNB is my top choice :((
@Bloomy46 What did you talk about in your essay? Cause we have similar stats but I got waitlisted and I feel like I should be accepted already too.
@asim682 Waitlisted for RBS?
Yesterday was the last day and my status portal still says “In Process”. Should I call the school?
Same
I am so stressed right now
@nikolateslaxi call the school
I just called their admissions office. Was told that EOF applicants, which I am, will be receiving their decisions AFTER February 28th, and should check email and portal every 2 or 3 days.
@realist10 What about non EOF applicants?
