Rutgers, New Brunswick

I know no one is ever tired of hearing this, but I can't seem to find an answer on the likelihood of my being accepted into Rutgers New Brunswick.

I'll make this short and sweet:

+GPA-3.0, as a transfer student
+Credits Accumulated- 63
+SAT- 1440 altogether (I'm a horrendous test-taker)
+Part of the Future Teachers Club
+Working for D.R.E.A.M. program, mentoring and tutoring students with intellectual and emotional disabilities

I must be honest, and say my essay was not an accurate reflection of my skills. Unfortunately, I was on a very timed basis when I wrote it...

What do you think?

I think you have pretty good chances depending on what school you apply to. I don’t think they look at your scores either if you have accumulated a certain number of hours credit. Best of luck!

Thanks for the reply! I do hope I get in (I’ve applied for the School of Arts and Sciences), because Rutgers seems very promising, and has an excellent pricetag for the education you can get there.

I’ll be sure to post the end result! :-)

I just found out today that I’ve been wait-listed, but am keeping my hopes up. I also applied to the Camden campus, which I’m hoping to hear good news from…

Is anyone out there not receiving their notifications yet? The site states that all applicants will know their decisions by April 15th, yet there has been absolutely no change. I’m very irritated, and would like to know if this is happening to anyone else!

Got my notification on Newark and Camden by April 26th. I’m going to Camden, although Rider also accepted me (it’s just so expensive, and gas isn’t going to be any cheaper). I’ll post if New Brunswick ever makes an update, because I’d rather attend the NB campus than Camden!

Have you ever heard back from New Brunwick?

It’s threads like these that make me feel guilty whenever my friends and I joke about having to go to Rutgers…
