It says the SRAR was locked on 11/28/2020 and sent to Rutgers on 11/29/2020. Do you know if that means it’s locked and I can’t edit it? When I click Continue at the bottom I have the option to edit it. Thanks for answering my questions!

You surely can edit the report. Once you edit the file and submit it, it’s locked again. The updated file will be transmitted to the school in a day or two. I have done this before and confirmed reception of the updates with the admissions office.

We had the same thing. You can unlock it and lock it back after you are done updating. It will automatically link with your application within 24-72 hours. You will not have a LINK button on status screen and should not worry about it. This is why I suggested in the previous post for you to call and follow up with admissions office in 2-3 days to make sure they see an update. The weekend is the best time to do it because they are not posting any decisions.

Just curious how Rutgers admissions how it works ?

Got accepted into SAS . Applied to BS - CS
And SOE - ECE
Couple of questions

Rutgers portal doesn’t say what’s the major how can we find out ?

I was reading on Rutgers CS department site , we need to declare major after 30-40 credits , so Rutgers doesn’t admit directly into CS or any other engineering?

Congrats to all that got in. I received my financial aid email and of course I did not get anything except for the federal subsidized loan. I don’t know how Rutgers evaluates who gets what.
My stats are 4.0 uw and 5.96 weighted. 1350 sat and top 10 percent of my class. I have 8 to 9 Ap and honors classes. Also have extracurricular activities including sports, volunteering, stem, and many other clubs. I am instate and my parents are not that well off. What happen??? Can anyone give some type of insight why I didn’t get anything while others schools gave me at least 3/4 of my tuition. Sad !

We got the Federal loan too  People are saying Rutgers does not offer much support to the instaters. It’s great that you have good options with nice financial support. Going out of state could be a good experience too.

My daughter is 3.9, 33 ACT (1500 sat) expected nothing really (she is in the top 10 of her class, not %). I think one of her friends is #3 and nothing. OOS gives way more merit that Rutgers gives in state residents, I’ve had 4 kids apply so not surprised. If your parents make more than $65,000 I wouldn’t count on much FA. The other NJ colleges are more generous for in state students.

Which RU college can make a difference. Where were you accepted? My high stats son got more from SAS than soe, and nothing from pharmacy. Also sat score might matter, if you submitted one, but I don’t know what they’re doing this year.

To anybody who is still deferred, did you email admissions@ugadm.rutgers.edu? If so, what was their response?

emailed them this morning, no response as of yet

I emailed the rep for my area and they basically said thank you for reaching out you will hear back by March 31

Who did you email peephi? I haven’t gotten a response at all from ugadm

https://admissions.newbrunswick.rutgers.edu/meet-your-admissions-officer go to this link and find the one for your area

Now my decision has changed a little. Maybe upitt which only gave me 4k but like you said it might be a better experience.

Congrats to him. Yes I got into nursing in New Brunswick and Newark. I also got into School of Engineer. My Sat score is 1350 but the school was test optional if I can recall. Not even a dollar !!!

Very true. I guess they want all the OOS because they can make more money with living on campus.

When did you get into nursing?? I’m still deferred

It’s the same everywhere, they want diversity, not all in state students, which is why merit is do much higher OOS. However, even though UCONN gave my daughter $22,000 a year, it’s still more that Rutgers with no merit. Unless you are a super high stats applicant (close to 1600 SAT), that’s how it usually works.
