Rutgers University Class of 2025 Discussion Thread

Congrats! What were his stats?

Anyone still waiting after being deferred EA? A wave got sent out last night but I still havenā€™t received a decision.

Iā€™m still deferred for nursing for both Newark and New Brunswick

My son is a junior in SAS. He paid on average $14250 for tuition, fees, housing and meal plan per semester in state. That was living in a double in the quads on Livingston campus and the 220 meals/semester plan. Other housing options such as suites or apartments will be more expensive than the dorms.

For SAS or SOE
As per the new in-state tuition on our Financial portal it shows 17k tuition + 14k for Dorm
Is that not same for everyone ?

( excluding scholarships amounts )

Yes, thatā€™s what it shows for me too

A lot of people are hearing back from SAS!

Does anyone know if you can/should update your SRAR to include your first two marking period grades if you applied RD and are still ā€œIn Processā€ or is that only done if you were deferred to RD?

It will be good idea to send the Mid year grades Rutgers values it and can speed up the decisions as long as your Grades are great

I think itā€™s a great idea to do that. My daughter applied regular decision mid Nov and updated her SRAR as soon as her Term 1 grades were available. She was admitted 4 days later (Feb 11th) into NB SAS and yesterday to NB RBS. I donā€™t know if it played any role in her acceptance, but it canā€™t hurt if you have good grades.

Thanks! I was so afraid of messing that form up that I wasnā€™t sure if I should even touch it. Will definitely update it tomorrow.

Good luck!!! I hope you get in. BTW, just to be on the safe side that SRAR is linked with your application, you can make a follow up phone call to admissions dept on Tuesday to make sure they see updated record.

Totally understand most painful with SRARā€™s

Yes make sure first itā€™s Unlocked to be edited. Make edits and save them donā€™t submit , logout and login back check. Make sure to check top down. After you submit takes couple of days to transmit to RU

We even sent a email to Admissions show lot of interest and best part admissions officer replied with in an hour thanking for our LOCI
That seems worked out for us
