School counselor sends them directly and some colleges received my kids mid sem scores by Nov 14th
Ours is still sitting "Application submitted. Applied mid-September.
thatâs ok and donât worry. my brother got in last year and his portal never changed (Application Submitted status all the way until acceptance lol)
Did anyone hear from Rutgers NB this week?
We havenât heard anything back from NB this week.
not yet here
Disappointing. Thought yesterday would be the day they start rolling out acceptances.
As an FYI: they are not timely in sending out notification emails. Many applicants see their decision in the portal hours (or even a day) ahead of getting an email.
11/18 was a weekday last year. I wouldnât expect anything this weekend (or next Wed-Sun if not done Mon-Tues). And Rutgers gives themselves well into January this round, so thereâs no guarantee they are going to come close to their timing last year.
The first wave last year (11/18) was relatively small. Itâs possible some acceptances were sent out this past week but those folks may not be here on CC.
If they didnât, they might do a round after next week, and then 3rd week of December. Followed by Jan waves.
saw one person got accepted into NB on 11/17 on reddit
âJust got my acceptance into New Brunswick, for the physics engineering dual degree. Submitted on 31st October, but my application wasnât complete until a week after that since my SAT scores took time to reach themâ
I wouldnât count on anything from Rutgers until January. We toured last week and this was the big question. She basically said they hold onto them until late Jan and send them all at once. The exception would be a transfer student or spring â23 start. Hope this helps!
That would be a first. For decades, theyâve released decisions periodically. Typically starting in December, but they had a mini-wave in mid November last year.
Yes my daughter got it in December few years back. I am hoping we donât have to wait till January.
HS Class of 2021 my son was admitted to SEBS within 2 weeks of applying, the other 2 schools he applied to came weeks later and separately.
I was admitted by Newark. Does is mean that I wonât be admitted by New Brunswick or Camden? My first preference is Newark because I had no ACT score when I submitted my application, and Newark is test-blinded. But I took ACT a month later and sent it to Rutgers University. Do I still have the possibility to be admitted by New Brunswick? NB is my second preference
Yes.
Each school makes its own admissions decision. Getting accepted by Newark does not preclude additional acceptances.
Thatâs a relief. Thanks
When Does EA decision for an out if state student come out. I applied in early oct.
Rutgers doesnât make separate announcements for in-state vs OOS. Last year there was a mini-wave in the 3rd week of Nov.
For this year: one poster mentioned above that they got in 3 weeks ago but hasnât clarified if that was for NB or Newark. Havenât heard of any other acceptances this year.
Next wave is likely to come out the week before Christmas.
