<p>I have a 3.0gpa 25 act score and I am African American do I have a chance?I am not requesting financial aid. I want to major in political science.I have many EC ranging from a newspaper internship to a cancer research center volunteer to a ethnic race comitee member.</p>

<p>a 25 SAT is around a 1140 i think, and my friend got in with an 1140/ 3.7 GPA, i think u need to bring ur GPA up or bring ur ACT up, try taking the SAT's. aim for 1750+ you should be good for New Brunswick is thats where your aiming.</p>

<p>I want to go to New Brunswick a 25 is like around a SAT score of high 1700's I which is in the 80th percentile</p>

<p>Meh I don't know how much URM status helps for state schools, but I say you have a good chance, it's about a match.</p>
