SA Program GPAs

How strict are firms about the minimum GPA requirements for SA programs, say (3.3)?

When they review your official transcript would a 3.2 cum and 3.4 major be sufficient?

Thanks!

target or non target school?

target - the interviewers saw both on my resume as well. I am assuming it should be alright?? They wouldn’t revoke an offer for .1 - .2 differences in GPA i hope…
Also, official transcripts don’t calculate Major GPA’s so how could I make them aware of that before the start date?

thanks for the replies

My schools official transcripts calculate major GPA.

cfitz88 - you got an offer already? They are asking you for an official transcript? My daughter’s offering letter(s) is not contingent on any transcript, and they are with major ibanks. When she applied she did submit her official transcript.

Yes I have received an offer from a BB firm. The big ones finished up recruiting about 1-2 weeks ago at my school. I did have to supply an unofficial transcript for the process, they do however want an official copy submitted on or before the first day of work. It seems that the offer is not contingent on my transcript. I had both my GPAs on my resume and one interviewer said I actually had great grades! I’m just concerned because the job posting said 3.3 min gpa.

All advice is greatly appreciated

You had your GPA on your resume and on your transcript, they still interviewed you and made you an offer, so I don’t think it really matters. When I post a job, I would list requirements, but I would still interview a person if he/she meets over 80% of requirements. As long as you didn’t lie on your resume or transcript then you have nothing to worry about. They wouldn’t have interviewed you if they didn’t think you were qualified. You didn’t just interview with one person. If your GPA was an issue then they would have brought it up during your interview.

I read my daughter’s offering letter and it is contingent on she has proper visa to work in this country, nothing about her transcript . Did they verbally ask you for your official transcript or was it stated in your letter?
