Sacramento City College and Sociology... General Advice?

I had poor academics in high school. I graduated in 2012 with a 2.2 GPA or so and took the year off to work. I recently moved from the east coast to NorCal with my parents. Since C.C.s are open admission, I'll be looking to start classes in January. Now if you couldn't tell by my H.S. stats, I'm not too fond of school. I'm opting to go for an associates in Sociology with a TAG, and I'm looking to get my associates as well just in case I decide to discontinue school. I'm looking forward to enjoying the new area and start fresh at school paying little money. Basically what I'm asking is if anyone here as any experience with Sac City or sociology degrees in general? Research and behavioral studies are pretty much all that interests me besides riding my motorcycle, partying, entertaining, etc (no wonder I had bad grades LOL). But feel free to throw any experiences, opinions, insight, or advice my way! Thank you

I’m not familiar with sociology, but sac city is a decent cc in the Los rios district. Although, I go to CRC since it’s closer.
