safety schools?

I'm having some serious trouble finding safety schools.. Schools that I know I can get into and not mind attending, most of my safeties are schools I would just rather not attend at all. I'm looking medium sized schools (public or private), but if they're small, they're okay as long as they are near bigger cities (urban!). I'd like to stay in the east, but not farther down south than NC (northeast is preferred). Interested in IR/poli sci majors. Not too into frats/sororties, but as long as the school's social life isn't built around them, they're fine.

GPA:3.9
ACT with writing: 28
SAT: 1780
My exam scores aren't that great, but I do well in school and have some good extracircculars. Teacher recommendations aren't a problem. I'm also a diploma candidate in the IB program at my school. My current class schedule is:
IB Eng IV HL
IB History of the Americas HL
IB Visual Arts HL
IB Spanish SL
IB World Art and Cultures SL
IB Environmental Systems SL
IB Math SL
and will be testing in all of these subjects except for world art & cultures.

Do you need financial aid? If so what state do you live in?

What are your match and reach schools?

Trinity College (Hsrtford, CT) snd College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, MA) are top LACs that are located in major cities. HC does not allow frats. Both are strong for poli sci majors

HC has a 95% freshmen retention rate. Trinity has a 91% freshmen retention rate. Very positive signs that students like the college.

We need to know your financial situation. Have your parents told you how much they can spend each year?

If you need financial aid, it probably won’t help if we suggest OOS public schools since they can’t do much for OOS students.
