Santa Catalina South

I got placed in Santa Catalina South today and I was wondering if people could share the experiences with living here. Is the partying in FT really as bad as people say?

I’m in South tower too!
No I heard it really isnt that bad and people are awesome!!! Don’t worry too much :)

Haha, I lived in FT south tower, 8th floor just recently.
Nah. . .well, it depends on what floor you got, and how the people in your floor behave. I’ll add more info in a bit. . .

please do :)

also, quick question:

for our room numbers, for example 3215. I know 3 means 3rd floor but does the 2 have any significance?

sorry for the questions but i have so many D:

how’s the cell reception in san cat?
do the floors/towers interact a lot or do you pretty much stick to your floor?
how often did you eat at other dining commons beside portola?

Confused, check these links out: [link 1](http://www.housing.ucsb.edu/hchoices/reshalls-scatalina.htm), [link 2](http://www.housing.ucsb.edu/hchoices/hchoices-images/pdfs/santa_catalina.pdf)

Nah. It’s just a number -__-

We didn’t even have to think about cell reception all year. I guess that speaks of how reliable cell reception was in FT.

Regarding dining, if you ask me: I my time between Portola and the on-campus dining commons was evenly split. Of course, I almost always ate breakfast at Portola. (Hell, I might ear there again from time to time next year, cause I liked their breakfast. . .lol)

Yeah I’ve already checked out those links thats why I was confused about that second number.

Looks like I’m at the end of the hall. Is there any negative or benefit to that?

Eh, it’s whatever lol. Definitely more quiet than the rooms toward the lounge though.

Parrrtyyy!
