Santa Clara University EA Applicants

If ecampus is right I was accepted!!! But I’m gonna wait until the mail comes just in case!!! Does anyone know about any of the financial aid packages? The ecampus portal won’t allow me access to view my financial aid.

As for not seeing it, I am unclear about the situation, but I think the best indication is when the mail comes. You never know when the computer or the system is having glitches. Good luck to all and congratulations to those accepted!!

I think I read on the website that FA info will be available sometime next week. We couldn’t access ours, either.

Thanks for the information!!!

I think either my internet is having glitches or the ecampus is playing with me because my status disappeared!! I’ll just wait for the mail then!!!

I’m very worried now since mine didn’t change. I thought I had a good shot at getting accepted.

If they continue previous years’ practice, only the Presidential and Provost award come with the acceptance letter. Other awards come in a separate mail about a week later. You will receive an email from finaid office to check your ecampus if there’s awards, probably next week too.

My Santa Clara account changed to say the admitted undergraduate students and then I just checked back into my account and it went away! Why did they trick me?!

Ours changed back too. Guess they wanted to wait until the letters arrived. So no one should read anything into the temporary change–if you didn’t see a change, it might be that you logged in after they changed it back!! I’ll post if we get a letter in the mail around 3 pm PST.

Alright good I was starting to worry. I checked around 1130 central time the first time, so hopefully they just changed it back. I’m in Texas though, so I doubt I’ll get a letter today.

My guess is they’re updating the information now, so the system is not stable or finalized yet. Wait til the first person report a physical mail has been received. Then you know they’ve sent out the letters and probably finish the update.

Checked today’s snail mail, no word yet from Santa Clara.
Maybe the online system thing was just a glitch, they accidentally hit publish or something.
I am from the Bay Area btw

I called Santa Clara U, and they said that there was a glitch in the system, so they’re fixing it right now. They will be mailing the letters TODAY, so we may get them tomorrow or Monday.

Just to confirm the previous thread, no letter from SCU and we live in Northern California.

qwanie, did they say that the decisions would also be posted on line?

No, they did not say anything about it, only that they are fixing the glitch.

Is the glitch in the ecampus website? How is it affecting notification of admittance?

Looks like we will have to wait for those letters  :/

It says on the website that ecampus has scheduled maintance and will close tonight and reopen tomorrow sometime so maybe the glitch will be fixed by then!

So does that possibly mean that if my ecampus hadn’t changed when others had that it doesn’t mean anything? This is so stressful.

lacrosse, try not to worry. It could be that by the time you checked, they had already reverted back to the “Application is complete” page. Or maybe some of the pages got changed by mistake during the glitch. I think it’s impossible to read anything into it one way or the other. We’ll know in a day or two for sure when the letters come.

Computer glitches aren’t a good idea when you have anxious applicants waiting and now wondering whether what they saw or didn’t see was accurate.
