Sante fe college Chemistry Placement

So, I took the Chemistry placement test a few weeks back.

Firstly, for those who are planning on taking this placement test, you should know its pretty much a final for intro to chemistry level of difficulty. I went in assuming the test just wanted to see if you would have the aptitude to handle chem 1 course or the basics down, and I was wrong. Secondly, the sfcollege website says you need to score more than 40, it means out of 50 questions.

UF doesn’t use a chemistry placement exam, like Santa Fe. Instead it uses the ALEK’s test, which is a math test, and is used for math and chemistry placement. You’ll need to score 75% or higher to get place into CHM2045. You can also avoid taking the ALEK’s if you have the AP test scores and such.
