<p>SAP is business software for large companies. I do not know much about it other than it used for accounting and finance purposes. I believe they call it ERP software "entreprise resource planning".</p>
<p>I do not know if it used for engineering purposes per se. I do know that many management consulting firms sell the product installation and support and many new hires nare trained in and work with this package. It is one of the top products in its field and is from Germany.</p>
