I am an in-state New Jersey residence. I am a 4 year varsity cheerleader as well as captain of the cheerleading team. I was secretary of my student council freshman and sophomore year also an assemblyman for my senior and junior year. I am a certified lifeguard. I have volunteered as a an assistant coach for three summers for the local rec cheerleading teams. I have also been involved in my schools sparkle effect which allows special needs children to be apart of the cheerleading team at my high school. I am also in peer leadership. I have also volunteered at my local temple. My school is the most challenging in the area, my gpa is a 3.09 and my act score is a 21. Could i get into rutgers?oh & I'm gonna apply early action to SAS &SEBS. I applied as a nutrition & microbiology to SEBS and public health & genetics to SAS.

Rutgers is a reach. Large state school don’t factor ECs much, they’re more GPAX SAT score.
In your case, it’d be worth it to find 2-3 colleges with holistic admission where your stats are at the median or slightly above, because your ECs would help you stand out - for example: Rider, Widener, Moravian, Arcadia, Albright, Loyola-Maryland, Drew…

You have a solid chance!
