Has the SAT 2 Physics changed in the last few years? I have clean copy of the book Cracking the SAT Physics Subject Test (15th edition, published in 2014) and was wondering if I could use it or need to purchase the latest edition.

On Amazon you can scroll through much of the content of various versions. I checked a few sections of 15 vs.16 and they are identical. 17 is coming out in December, but I doubt it will be substantially different.
You can do more detailed comparisons to be sure. I’m not aware of any recent changes to the content of the Physics Subject Test (hasn’t been SAT 2 since 2005 ;)), and the material studied in Physics class likely hasn’t changed in quite a while.
(Then again, it’s only $20. Wait until December if you do decide to buy)
There hasn’t been any recent big breakthroughs in the world of physics so I would imagine that the test would still be the same because there isn’t any new content to be tested on.
