Anyone know (or have information regarding) whether College Board & ACT plan to update the concordance tables (from the current 2018 tables) as a matter of course (annually, bi-annually, etc.) or if people should expect the concordance tables to stay the same barring some kind of reformulation of testing strategies from one company or the other?
I doubt they will be updated with any regularity. Both organizations aim to standardize and equalize scores on their own test over the years, so there would be no reason to update.
Changing scoring on an individual test, as College Board did in 1995, 2005, and 2017, would require a new concordance.
Thanks. That’s the conclusion I came to as well. As far as I can tell, they did not update the concordance between 2006 and 2016.
It seems more helpful to compare the percentiles.
