SAT Anxiety?

Like most people taking a high-risk exam, I have mini-breakdowns while taking some of the College Board's tests. On the practice exams I do at home (Princeton, Mcgraw-Hill), I do pretty well 2060-2260. However, when I recall the PSAT I took as a sophomore last year, I feel like I'll have another 4 hour session of disorientation (left half a CR section blank, lost track of time, second-guessed myself, overthought questions, missed the first questions on sections, etc) on the ACTUAL SAT.

Anyone else ever had this problem before? Could anyone share how they fixed this?

We found a couple of test optional schools that D daughter liked a lot – ironically I think that knowing that she didn’t do well on the SATs to get into those schools helped her to relax and do better on the exam. (and she ended up going to a college that was not SAT optional)
