SAT as a Senior/What books?

Hey everybody:

Okay so school starts up shortly, and I'm going to be a senior. However, I have yet to take the SAT...

I had planned on taking the October 6th, but I would like another month of preparation so I would prefer to take it on November 3rd. Is this going to be a bad idea for the college application process?

Also, most importantly, what books should I purchase in order to score a 2100+ on the test? I have been reading various reviews and people are claiming Dr. Chung's Math is the best. What about the official SAT study guide from College Board themselves? What books should I purchase in order to assure the score of my desire? Critical Reading/Writing/Math -- what are the best books for each?

Knowing you have limited time, I advise you to focus on practicing from the CB’s blue book. No book exists guaranteeing a specific score; everything is up to you. What score breakdown do you have currently? What are you struggling most with? Dr. Chung’s is not the best out there for SAT math practice. From what I have seen posted around CC, it contains problems that are ridiculously difficult and covers some topics not even on the SAT.

@chewydog I understand that I have limited time; however, I believe I can cover every possible concept within the next two months given the appropriate preparation books. This will be my first time taking the SAT.
