I have been worried about my Chem SAT. I have a 700 and as a prospective pre-med, should I have a higher score? I applied to colleges this year and while waiting for decisions, the Chem thing has been eating me. I heard subject tests are used as placement exams by colleges (my school didn't offer AP classes only honors) , so is it worth retaking Chem in May for this purpose? I been involved in this independent science project (date due in April) which I found demanding me to study extra chem stuff on my own. So is a May SAT Chem worth putting in or not?

I wouldn't worry about it at this point. I believe many colleges offer placement tests at the beginning of the year that allow you to challenge the intro-courses, so that's still an option you can explore.

I've never heard of a college using SAT IIs for placement purposes. That said, your SAT chem score doesn't have much to do with pre-med; it does have to do with what colleges you'll get into. Depending on what colleges you're aiming for, a 700 may be very good, just right, or too low.

lol, that was a very informative statement
