it's not showing up on my student central portal; is it showing for anyone else?

It's not showing up for me either; I hear it takes a very long time to show up. I think we should just wait. If it doesn't show by the start of classes, I'm going to go to the Registrar's office and see what's going on.

I don't think it's really a problem, I placed out of 101 and it let me register for 102 so it'll just take a while I guess.

Yeah. I have English 101 credit from AP English Language, but the English 102 credit I was supposed to recieve from my SAT Writing score is nowhere to be found. However, I was still able to register for other english courses. I won't start worrying until school starts and it still does not appear.

My Engl 101 and 102 credit didnt show up til late first semester. If you know you have the scores to receive credit, don't worry about it.

I asked about this on another thread, and someone else said his credits didn't show up until second semester. I think they take care of AP credits first; my English 190 credit has shown up for my AP English Lit score. I'll wait a while for the 101 and 102 to be credited for SAT scores.

yeah, it takes a while; don't fret!

So, if you get your SAT writing score above 690, they give you 6 credit hours of English credit (English 101 & English 102)?

oh okay thanks guys!!

and Sligh_Anarchist, yes, according to what I've learned from CTOPS and the First yr guide, they do give that credit, yup.

That's pretty awesome! At this rate (I am a high school senior), I could come into Carolina as a sophomore (I already have 18 hours of credit from UNC-G classes and AP credit alone!).
