SAT Essay..NEVER WRITTEN ONE BEFORE!?HOW TO PREPARE?!

I am taking the March test and i have never written a practice essay. Any advice and guides on how i can write a perfect essay!?

Silverturtle’s guide is pretty good for that! And I’m sure if you search for essay in this forum you’re bound to come up with some tips.

I know some good ones:

-Try to fill up the two pages as best you can
-Historical and Literature Ideas are good
-Use high-level vocab when appropriate
-Use transition words
-Vary your sentence structure
-Stick with your position

Azurestar’s advice is good

I also want to add that you can’t really prepare for them, just know that they are EASY, and always some super random open ended topic like “Do you think electronics have made people more disconnected?” Its going to be an opinion based question but you want to ground your answer in CONCRETE ideas. Not just “i think that…” personal anecdotes are better than nothing.

mmm what would be some good examples?

I got an 11 on the topic about electronics and whether they were beneficial or not. I forgot exactly what I said, but i talked about how they were good in schools with powerpoints and stuff, and i said how they helped me personally to understand the lessons. I included some other stuff, but personal stories were the major part of my essay so I think its ok to go with that.

bump… seeking high level examples.
