SAT Grammar Question

Neither Ms. Perez nor Ms. Tanaka believes that watching as much television as her son Sam does will lead to anything productive. No error.

The correct answer, meaning the wrong part is supposedly 'her', before "son Sam". What should be the correct term there then? I don't know if it can be 'their' since the whole sentence is essentially singular.

‘Her’ is ambiguous. i.e- does ‘her’ refer to Mrs. Perez or Mrs. Tanaka?

Yeah, I guessed as much. So that’s not acceptable at all? What should be the correct term?

Either of the names to specify whom of the women you are talking about.
