SAT I curves being released?

yeah you guys, im scared about the math curve too. im pretty damn good at math (i got 780M on old sat) and other math related things, and this new SAT math had some tricky stuff. i dont think we're going to see another -1: 760 thing on this exam. it was relatively difficult. i know for sure i missed two- both pretty tricky. i say the curve is more like:

54-800, 53-790, 52-770, 51-750, 50-730, 49-720, 48-700, 47-680

i think thatll be more like it.

I would love you if you were right bio, i say we write a petition to collegeboard telling them how they needa take fatigue into account, what a beastly test

i dont think you will need to write a petition, because if fatigue was really an issue, it will show in the scores.

the real answer on the SAT was c

No, the correct answer was x^2 < x^3 < x

and i thought my friends' talks of topic changing forums were just jokes

"No, the correct answer was x^2 < x^3 < x"

that sounds right to me, but what letter was that on the test? B or C?

I think it was B on the test... I'm not too sure though.

i cant remember if i put B or C

It's C

I hope I get a 2300 (sigh)...if I do, everyone get's one cookie

The answer is actually Q i calculated it in my mind while doing Calculus YZ-54 and subtracting the bipolar numoclaterical.

someone brought up a very good point in another post, I think helthair's curve for the math may be somewhat off because he didn't take into account that this is the first test with algebra II on it. that should make a difference for the better hopefully.

Cookie? Even me?

How do you guys think the altered verbal section will change the curve?

I think fewer questions will translate to a harsher curve. It went from 78 to 67, after all.

I think that getting all the questions right equals a 680 now

No cookies for anyone :(

Im sure it may be a harsher curve but then again they might factor in other stuff like stress as you guys said...although if you take a billion practice tests like i did your going to get used to the time so im not so sure.

They didn't do that for the PSATs. pouts

If I were to get a 2400 (which is like 99.99999999999999999% not possible at this point), I would personally mail everybody on this forum a cookie...

:)

what kind of cookie?
