I'm going to apply to GU early action, so between now and the application due date theres only one SAT testing date. Im wondering if I should take the reasoning test or subject tests. My SAT I score is fine, 2230, but it's not evenly balanced. 800 writing, which will be ignored, then 780 reading and 650 math. however, my sat II scores in math/science are poor. math II 630 physics 620. I plan to major in political science, so could I get away with only sending in liberal arts type test score for the sat II? should i take the math II sat II in october, or try to get a higher score on the math section of the SAT I? Which will have more weight in my admissions decision? Thank you!

SAT Is most definitely. A 2230 is an excellent score for the new SAT, but according to Georgetown, you only scored a 1430 (which is still good), but that's not on par with the 2230 you achieved on the new SAT. I would focus on the math section this time. SAT IIs you can always send them in later, and since math/science isn't even your interest, it is not too important to score extremely high in those SAT IIs.

thank you so so much, this is exactly the answer i was looking for! :)
