When a college looks at your appplication, which one to them holds more weight, the reasoning or subject test? Or do they have equal weight? I'm kinda worried because my I score wasn't too hot (especially the math) and I need a high II score in Math 2 and Phys to bump it up.

The reasoning, definitely.

According to some really top colleges, like Harvard, SAT IIs hold a lot of weight--maybe as much as the SAT. But does anybody know if this is actually true?

Top schools that require IIs say IIs are very important, close to weight of the SAT. However, they do not actually reveal what weight they give to them once they are in the room making the actual decision. The question you seem to really have is will high IIs make up for a low SAT for admission. The reality is that, for a highly selective school that requires IIs, you generally need to have your SAT in the range of those usually admitted regardless of how good your IIs are.

Also be aware that most colleges (particularly most public universities) neither require nor use IIs for admission so for those your better II scores aren't worth anything.
