I plan on applying to Brown next year. My problem is is that i know how hard it is to get in and i want my sat IIs to be high up there. I took bio as a freshman and got a 720. I’m taking ap bio now and i tihnk im much more prepared for it. Should i take it again because i know i can get between a 770-800 now as a junior?

I took bio as a freshman with a score comparable to yours. I just sent in that SAT II (although I did not take bio again until senior year).

I don't necessarily think that it will be a huge difference, perhaps talk to your GC?

hahhaa... i got into brown with a 720 after AP.

it wont be a big difference.

and i'm asian.
so i think that's saying something esp about how brown uses numbers.

take them only if you want too, but if you feel you would rather take another subject. They will see the two year gap between scores and probably see the corrolation with you schedule, so if you like bio (which i would say you do if you are taking it for another year) then show it and take the test again.

like everyone else said it is not the be all end all

good luck
