Hi everyone,
I just recently got back my Math II score and i thought it was pretty good, a 750, but then i checked the "understand your score" section and it said that was the 68th percentile. Do only freaky geniuses take that test or something? Anyway, is that actually as bad as it seems and should i retake the test and does the percentile really matter? Thanks

You’re fine, its just that an unusually high amount of people get perfect scores on the exam. I got an 800, but it was only the 85th percentile, a 750 is an awesome score, the percentile just tells you how you did relative to others who took it too

If you’re aiming for a school like MIT, or plan on majoring in a STEM field, you might want to retake it. Colleges are definitely aware that - depending on the specific exam - more than 10% of all those taking the Math II get a perfect score.
