**SAT II Physics December 2015 Discussion*

No light would go through the two layers of polarization right?

right.
what did people get for the last problem? was it that they dont move?

and i admit, the elevator with the woman was difficult. Along with the one that asks what can you see in a dark room?

I put the white piece of paper… lol

i put down tungsten since its used in bulbs to produce light when heated

@ikim16 If you remembered that the Normal=mg + ma, you would have easily solved it.

Anyway I totally bombed the test, left like 9+ blanks and some of my answers were more of educated guesses…lol Wasn’t prepared for so many conceptual questions.

@ikim16 What was the last problem?

It was the pulley system. since they were the same mass, it wouldnt move, regardless of their position.

What about the question that asked which figure was the correct one? I didn’t have time to look through the rest so I chose the clock-wise electromagnetic field caused by a current running from the top to the bottom of the page. B, I think. Does anyone know the correct answer?

Learner I feel like I remember picking that for an answer (B). Also I picked heated tungsten for that one problem. And Punisher I also picked .025 for the tree height. I’m pretty sure that is right

The last question about the pulley asked which of the two weights was heavier(and why) or had more acceleration…if am not wrong…

@Malcomx9

I think I chose that the second mass was heavier since that is the only was there could be acceleration. I might be wrong. What did you choose?

There was also a question that asked which wave point was going up into the page? Does anyone remember that?

well, the blocks did not move. They gave you the positions of the blocks to throw us off. If they dont move, there is no acceleration since the blocks are identical.

Learner was that in the very beginning? I think I chose D for that one

^so glad they started with something easy.

Same

Was the experiment question the one with the gold foil??

@Learner12388 I chose an answer about mass too.

@SIpapiSIpapi
Yes. I chose E lol don’t know what came over me.

Anybody remember any other problems lol
