I'm currently studying for the Physics SAT II in June (2 weeks away!) and was wondering how hard the test actually is. I have a book from Kaplan but the practice tests seem really easy. I'm not in AP Physics as my school doesn't offer it, but I've done a lot of studying on my own and feel like I know all of the concepts pretty well. For those of you who already took the test, was it harder or easier than you expected it to be, and what were the hardest types of questions on the test?

definitely is a hard test to take. my friend who has a 99% in our AP Physics B class got less than a 600 on it even with intense studying and a class to back it up. Kaplan study aids also have a tendency to be too easy in comparison to actual tests. so just be ready because the test is unlike what you'd expect sometimes. lots of theoretical/conceptual stuff, so know that concepts behind everything.

I studied with Kaplan physics and got 800 on every practice tests that I took. However, on the real thing I got a 790.

If I were you, I would buy a princeton review book too.

ok, thanks for the advice
