SAT II physics

For anyone who has taken the physics exam, I just wanted to ask about the test in general. I took honors Physics in my sophomore year, did well, liked the subject, too. For junior year, I did not have the option of taking physics. This year I am once again taking physics, except IB physics. And that stuff is pretty difficult, and the problems are unimaginable without a calculator. So I have heard that SAT II physics is a lot of memorizing formulas and applying them to simple problems, is that true? Since we are not able to use a calculator, the problems should be manageable without them right. Has anyone run into questions where a calculator seemed needed. And I would appreciate any input on how to effectively study for the exam. I have the Princeton Review book to learn the stuff I never had before. Is that book sufficient or do you guys have better suggestions. Thanks

ib physics sl covers most of the stuff but really in-depth.

the sat 2's arent that bad, and have few calculations and mostly just test general ideas, or use symbols instead of numbres.

you should go through the whole princeton book, and do all the tests. i would recommend you get the collegeboard subject test book and do that test as well, and do the sparknotes tests.
