I was in a physics honors class this year which basically only covered Mechanics. I am planning on taking the Physics II subject test in October and my ideal score would be an 800. Would I have enough time to learn all of the other concepts that are tested? I am really good at the mechanics questions, and can usually answer them all correctly 99% of the time, but I am clueless when it comes to electromagnetism, waves, light, optics etc.

What is the best way to learn all of these concepts. Keep in mind that I only want to learn them to the extent that will get me an 800 on the test. Next year I am taking AP Physics C and will focus on learning Mech. and E&M more thoroughly.

I've looked at some of the stuff in the Kaplan review book for this test, and it does not seem very difficult to understand, although it does seem pretty basic. Not much of a conceptual understand, but more of a "memorize equations" kind of understanding. Which book will be best for learning new concepts? I know a lot of you may suggest a textbook, but I don't think I have time to go through a textbook, and would rather use a review book.
