SAT II Required?

<p>Junior Son has suddenly decided he might be interested in Northwestern for Engineering (ACT scores came in higher than expected). But he hasn't taken the SAT or SAT II. Are the SAT II required? Can you get in without them? Can you take the SAT II without taking the SAT I?</p>

<p>According the NU's site, it is recommended that applying seniors take three SAT subject tests.</p>

<p>SAT reasoning test isn't necessary so long as applicant takes ACT. One or the other is fine.</p>
