I'm taking the SAT II Math 1 and Physics in May this year and I was wondering if there's anything specific I should expect

If you’re good enough at science that you are taking the Physics subject test then I would recommend that you take Math 2 instead of Math 1. The curve is far more generous and the test requires pretty much no additional preparation following a good Precalculus course.

Also don’t worry if you signed up for Math 1 as you can change your subject test when you get down there.

My tips for Math 2 would be to take a practice test near May and see where you stand. If you need additional preparation then study and complete more p-tests.

I haven’t taken pre-calc yet though. I mean, I could learn some stuff about it before taking the test, but I don’t have any classroom experience with it

Me too; I’m skipping precalc and going straight to AP Calc as a sophomore. I took the SAT in 8th grade and got a 680 math. Is there much that I’ll be missing w/o precalc?

Precalculus builds essential foundations in trigonometry. I took precalculus and AP Statistics concurrently my sophomore year. See if you can try that.
