How should I prepare for the Sat Subject Test Math Level 2?
I finished AP Calculus last year, and I need to get an 800 on this test. How do you recommend I study, and what books should I use.
Anything is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

I used the Barron’s practice book, which is a lot harder than the actual test. They gloss over a lot of the topics, so if you need to learn the actual material it might not be the best. But if you simply need a refresh on topics, it’s good for that.
There are about 6 practice tests + a diagnostic test. If you consistently get 770+ on the Barron’s test, you’ll get an 800 on the real thing easily.
Also AP Calculus will help a little bit, but won’t give you a significant advantage over someone who has only taken pre-calculus.

Thank you! I will buy the barrons book. How do you recommend I study. Should I take practice tests every day? What do I do?
Practice tests every day might not be a great idea since you’ll exhaust them pretty quickly.
I recommend, after a practice test, going over the solutions to all the problems, even ones you got right. There might be an alternate or more elegant/efficient solution.
@MITer94
Thank you.
What schedule do you recommend.
@Salutation when are you taking Math II?
Since it’s likely several months away, I recommend spacing them out more, maybe once every few days.
A good idea might be to start taking untimed tests in order to focus on being able to solve all of the problems correctly. As you get closer to the test date, start timing yourself.

Thank you!
I will get myself accustomed to all the questions first.
