So does anyone have any tips/strategies/formulas that usually appear on the test for significant improvement on the MATH section of the SAT? Preferably ones that I can make the most out of before the October/November Test Dates lol. I`m horrible at math and it's really frustrating cause my other scores are at least decent. Math REALLY brought down my chances for a great score (1900-2000+)
1st and only time: June 2008
CR:630(85th percentile)
Math:460(31st percentile =/)
Writing:690(95th percentile
obv my math needs mucho trabajo. Any suggestions?
senior entering college in fall of '09 btw

Grubers is a great guide for people with scores <600. To increase your score, work at a reasonable pace, and if a problem has you stuck, just go on to another, since they're worth the same. Other than that, just go through Grubers thoroughly and it would be very difficult for you to score less than 550.

Definitely get one of the books and start studying. (I would check out a few different ones to see how they fit with you). D and her friends used different books and were successful.

Dang your writing is good compared to mine haha.
