SAT Math Level 1

The sphere was 4, don't know how wrong it is, but I put down -.52 for m...

i put sphere 4
1.53? for zero
2 for k for (x-1) factor
sub committee 10
2 and 4? for angle

for the sphere one, was the box 4 by 2 by 2?

(6, m) (m-1, 3)
i dont think i could be -.52

4 by 4 by 2
.46 was a zero, but i think 1.53 was the greatest zero.
45 points of crossing
2 for question 49 for f(t) = 1

2 by 4 by 4. Imagine a square 4by 4, the diameter of the circles was 2 (radius 1 inch) so 4 in the square, two high, so only one level could fit.

Sorry, I think I meant 0, the one 3 from the end...Yeah, I probaly did get that one wrong though. I think I got 4-5 wrong in the test.

sum of 43 number must be 7?
2 and 4 for angle cosine? don't know it can be 3 at all.
i got a boat load fo B's in the beginning

confirmation?

ohhhh, for m i think i agree now
i was thinking about a question asking for the zeros. i put 1.53

Yeah, I think I had 1.53, don't remember, except I remember plugging in the right answer and re-trying it and being excited because it was right, lol, I'm such a dork....

same here. i didnt have my TI-89. so i just plugged and chugged.

did anyone get
k = 2
2 for f(t) = 1
2 and 4 for angle
7 for sum of 43
7 for abs zero for b
10 subcommittee

I think I had 10 for commitee...

I guessed for the angle, couldn't remember how to do it, except I could see 2 that were wrong, so I crossed them out and guessed...Don't remember what I guessed....

3 wrong 1 omit what do you think you're looking at scorewise

can someone please explain to me the last question...10 distinct lines one? i think each intersects at 2 points or something like that?

i think the answer was 45

the question asked for how many points there would be if there were 10 nonparallel lines all intersecting at no more than 2 points. i just found the answer to 2 lines and then 3 lines and used the pattern to figure out 10 lines.

well im feeling kinda dumb right now.. i omitted so many im so slow at math.. i always feel the need to check myself.. what kind of score am i looking at for getting none wrong and omitting 9..? thanks :)

it was 45

i cant believe that i didnt read it was the sum of the angles, thats depressing

i put (2) A for question 49 with f(t) = 1
f(2x-3) = 4x + 7
point A had the greatest rate of flow
2 pi for semicircle area
.47 for square and triangle question
2 and 4 only for cosine angles equal to sine of 1
one solution line was answer E
All real numbers for 16+x^2
7 for sum of 43
anyone else?

"i got a boat load fo B's in the beginning"

as did I.

im really not sure about #49
with for what values of t does f(t) = 1
i put 2 but does anyone else have something else

That one of (6,m) and (m-1,3)... I said the 2.46 or 2.56, whatever it was... If you think about it, you would have 2.46x=y, so if you did 2.46-1, then multiplied that by 2.46, you would have about 3. Something like that was my logic.

The spheres in a square... I found the area of the rectangle, then the area of the spheres... Each sphere had an area of just over 4, so you could only fit 4 in there.

It had to be 10 for the committee. If you do 5! / (3!)*(5!-2!) or whatever that equation is, you get 10. It also works if you do it out w/ a chart or whatever.

And so on and so forth...
