SAT or ACT?

<p>I got my pSAT score back today and it was a horrible 166. </p>

<p>Two questions:
1. Can I achieve a 2000 on the January SAT (I don't know why my writing and reading scores were so low on this test; usually score in the ~600s on practice tests)?
2. If I can't get a 2000 by the time I take my 3rd SAT next year, should I just submit my ACT scores to colleges? I get around 30-32 on the ACT w/ writing. Do any colleges require BOTH sat and act?</p>

<p>I don’t believe any schools require both the SAT and ACT. My ACT score was significantly better than either of my two sittings for the SAT so I only submitted that. I am a junior in college now so it’s been a while though. Just keep practicing.</p>
