SAT Practice Questions Online: Deceptively easy?

I recently checked out some free sample questions on The CB site. I only did the CR and sentence completion q's, but they were very, very easy. They were labeled Easy, Medium, Hard, but they didn't seem to increase in difficulty. Are these questions representative of the actual SAT test or is the test tougher?

Actual test is tougher. Not by a ridiculous margin, but it’s tougher.

oh wow. i know what you mean. It’s like a piece of cake and then when I took a practice sat i was like ARE YOU MAD? WHAT IS THIS?

They seem alot tougher on the test because…

  1. You’re timed.
  2. It’s a lot of questions, not just a few. (takes over 3 hours…)
  3. In addition to the pressure that comes from being under a time limit, there’s all sorts of pressures that factor in when you’re taking the real thing, not just sitting alone at your computer messing around online.
Overall, those couple of questions are not quite representative of the SAT. You’ll see the same kinds of easy, medium, and hard Q’s, just a lot more of them and quicker too.
