I'm a high school sophomore and I took the PSATs in the fall, getting a 213 overall. This put me in the top 99%, but I'm hoping to get in the 2200s or 2300s on my SAT- should I look into taking an SAT prep course over the summer to boost my grade, or will I be able to bring up my score just through more practice?
Thank You!

Don’t worry about it too much. A tutor might not help, but if you can afford, it might help. Typically all tutors do is motivate you to study. If you can do that by yourself, you don’t need one. Focus on grammar, mathematics, and vocabulary - those skills are the easiest to obtain.

Congratulating on getting a 213! I wouldn’t invest in a tutor or a prep course in your position. You seem like someone who motivate yourself to practice rigorously.
