I just want to show my opinion about SAT. SAT is a standardized test. Which means it is valid, and reliable, which means the the test has to test what it’s testing accurately and it needs to be consistent. This also means that if a person takes a test over and over again, they’re expecting us to get the same SAT score over and over again. Then what is the difference between IQ test and SAT test? Is SAT test really fair for us?
The SAT is not an intelligence test.
In terms of whether the SAT is fair is open to debate, but don’t forget the famous “oarsman-regatta” question many years ago.
You aren’t supposed to study for an IQ test. If you study for an IQ test it defeats the purpose of the test. Bob could be smarter than Joe, but if Joe spends 8 hours a day for a weak preparing for an IQ test, Joe would probably do better than Bob. Did Joe become significantly smarter in that one week he spent studying? No, but an IQ test would indicate that he did.
This is where you went wrong.
