<p>Could someone please tell me if you retake the sat I and score higher on one section, but lower on the other sections, which score is used. Is it the higher total score from either time I took the test, or the higher individual scores on each section even if they were on different tests.</p>

<p>They take the highest combination of your scores. Colleges still see the other scores but they consider the highest when comparing you with other applicants.</p>
