Hello, my problem is that I want to use the SAT score choice to send my scores to some colleges. However, there are some practicing the SAT score choice II (which encourage students to send all the scores they have taken). Am I allowed to send only some of my scores?, cuz I did not do very well in some of my SATs before. And will the colleges know if I do not send all my scores?

I think I should state my question more clearly. In the CollegeBoard sat score policy, I see that there are 5 types of score choices (highest section, highest test date, all scores ,…). The “All scores” practice requires me to send all of my scores to the college. However, take as an example, the “Highest section 2” policy says that the colleges will only consider the highest score in each section across all of my taken tests and they encourage me to send my test score each time I have taken. Does the word “encourage” here mean that I am compelled to send all my scores? If yes, what is the different between the “Highest section 2” and “All scores” policies?
